Support for Young People

Young people in Sheffield can go to libraries to read, study, and borrow books for free.

They can join Sheffield Children’s University to do fun learning activities outside school.

They can also get help with jobs and training from the National Careers Service.

There are many free services that help with learning, feelings, and future plans.

Young People Services:

  • Red Cross - Weekly Youth Group for Asylum Seekers and Refugees age 16 - 25.

  • Door 43 - a Youth Information, Advice, Counselling and Support Service (YIACS) within Sheffield Futures. Door 43 offers support to 13-25 year olds on a range of emotional wellbeing issues.
