Support for separated children and young people seeking sanctuary
Some children and young people under 18 arrive in the UK without a parent or guardian.
They may be fleeing conflict, danger, or persecution.
These children need help with:
- Accommodation (a safe place to stay)
- Education (going to school or learning)
- Health (seeing doctors and dentists)
- The asylum process (getting legal help and support)
Sheffield City Council, charities, and local organisations can provide:
- Guidance and advice
- Safe spaces
- Help to access important services
