There are services around Sheffield that can help you learn and develop key computer skills.

What can we help you with?

Library Drop-in Sessions

You can join drop-in digital skills sessions at libraries across Sheffield.
These sessions can help you learn:

  • How to use a computer

  • How to get online

  • How to send emails

  • How to use online services

Times:

  • Manor Library – Monday, 10am–12pm

  • Central Library – Tuesday, 10am–12pm

  • Firth Park Library – Wednesday, 10am–12pm

  • Upperthorpe Library – Wednesday, 11am–1pm

  • Central Library – Thursday, 10am–12pm

  • Highfield Library – Friday, 10am–12pm

You do not need to book. Just come along.

FACES Digital Courses

FACES offer digital courses for adults across Sheffield.

You can learn:

  • Basic computer skills

  • How to use the internet

  • How to use online forms

  • How to stay safe online

Some courses give you a certificate when you finish.

Learn My Way is a free website for beginners.

You can learn:

  • Using a computer

  • Using a smartphone or tablet

  • Online safety

  • Job searching online

  • Using email

You can learn at your own pace, at home or in a library.

The AI Gateway is a free website that helps you learn about Artificial Intelligence (AI).

It offers:

  • Short, easy lessons

  • Interactive activities

  • Simple examples of how AI works

It is open to everyone and good for beginners.
