There are a variety of wonderful organisations offering affordable meals and community connections on different days across Sheffield.

This list is doesn't include all the community meal projects in Sheffield as there are too many! For more locations and options, The Sheffield Food Partnership maintains a large list of free/ affordable community meals available around the city which can be found on this website and by downloading this PDF.

Food Works offer affordable meals in different locations in Sheffield (listed below) and ask for a minimum £1 donation for each meal. You can collect meals to take away too. More information and opening hours available here.

‍Handsworth: Lunch offered from Monday-Sunday (11am-2/3pm) in Unit 12-14 Portland Business Park, 130 Richmond Park Road, S13 8HS.

‍Sharrow: Breakfast and lunch offered from Monday-Friday (9am-2/3pm) in the Old Junior School, South View Road, Nether Edge, S7 1DB.‍

Upperthorpe: Breakfast and lunch offered from Monday-Friday (9am-2/3pm) at 18 Upperthorpe, S6 3NA (inside the Zest Centre).

Open Kitchen offer free food in two locations listed below. More information on their services and opening hours is available here.

‍St Andrew’s: Monday lunch (10am-1:30pm) at St. Andrew's United Reformed Church Hall, Upper Hanover Street, S3 7RQ.‍

The Sanctuary: Tuesday lunch (12:30pm) at the Sanctuary, 37-39 Chapel Walk, Sheffield S1 2PD.

Sheffield Food Squad offer breakfast and lunch (10am-2pm) every Friday on a pay what you feel basis (no minimum donation) at the Showroom cinema (Paternoster Row, S1 2BX). You can collect meals to take away too.

Ammi’s Kitchen offers pay what you feel/ free lunch (12-2pm) every other Friday at the Common Ground Community Centre in Nether Edge (Woodstock Road, S7 1HA). More information on dates and times is available here.

Radical mutual aid Sheffield (RADMASH) offer free lunch (12-3pm) on the last Saturday of every month at the Mums United Community Centre (19-21 the Wicker, S3 8HS).
